Zer Surigao
Online Pastor
Born and raised in Vallejo, California, Zer moved to Texas in 2014 to attend Southwestern Seminary, where he graduated in 2016. It was in seminary where Zer met his wife Farrah, and they had no idea the amount of changes they would go through over the next five years. They got married in 2017, had their first boy Kai in 2018, moved into their home in Arlington in 2019, and had their second boy Phinehas in 2020. Zer originally came on staff at Fielder late 2018 to serve as the Campus Student Pastor at the South Oaks Campus. Fast forward to 2021, the Lord called him out of Fielder for a short season to prepare him for his current position as the Online Pastor.
Zer’s wife is a stay-at-home mom to their two boys and runs a small business with a friend called Letter & Clay, Co. His oldest son is his wife’s mini-me, has all the energy in the world, and loves to sing and dance. His youngest son has more of his Filipino genes, gives the best back pats when you hold him, and is one of the fastest and most impatient eaters he knows. Zer is just the guy blessed to call them his family.
Zer is passionate about reaching people where they are, both in-person and online. You can catch him with his family lounging around their living room or taking a walk to the park; otherwise, you can find him immersed in the digital world through video games and social media.
