Sissy Liu

Hello, friends! Sissy came to Fielder to work with the Children’s Ministry team immediately following her graduation with a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December 2022. During 2017-2019, Sissy and her husband, Mark, and her children, Boaz and Rose, were planting a small church in a country in Asia.

Sissy became a Christian right after she graduated from college in 2006. An invitation to a Christmas party opened her path to salvation. She was called to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ while God opened her eyes. There are many ups and downs in the journey of sanctification, but our Lord’s loving-kindness has never forsaken her.

Three fun facts about Sissy:

1. She loves rocks. She is fascinated by different rock formations. There are bags and bags of rocks lying around her house in her home country that she could never bring here.
2. She enjoys reading. Reading makes her excited and helps her gain strength.
3. Sharing the gospel is always her priority. One hour a week, she shares the gospel with every stranger she meets at a park in Arlington. One of her goals in 2023 is to share the gospel with 100 people.
