Logan George

Ministry Logistics Coordinator

Logan is a lifelong Arlington resident with deep roots in the community.  Growing up in a religious home, he had a strong foundation of God’s Word.  As a young husband and father, he realized he had not made Jesus the Lord of his life and was baptized as a believer at South Oaks Baptist Church in 2010.  Since then, he’s found such joy in serving the Kingdom.  Logan met his wife, Megan, in 9th grade at Young Junior High.  They were close friends throughout high school, fell in love in 1999, and were married in 2004.  God has faithfully redeemed their story, and they’ve grown more reliant on Him through several challenging seasons.  Logan and Megan have four kids, ranging from elementary school to high school. It can be difficult to find a Saturday for the Georges that doesn’t have a football game, volleyball match, lunch with friends, piano recital, and/or party.  They love this busy, fun stage of life.

Logan serves at the South Oaks Campus as Ministry Logistics Coordinator and Director of Grace Gardens.  On Sundays and Wednesdays, he supports Pastor Matt, the Ministry Staff, the Community Group Leaders, and the congregation: seeing and meeting the needs of each ministry area.  Logan cherishes his close relationships with many in the South Oaks Campus family.  They know he’s always there for them for prayer, friendship, and a hearty laugh.  As Director of Grace Gardens, Logan oversees the development and maintenance of the beautiful, outdoor space of respite and reflection.

The George family loves to remember God’s goodness and generosity in bringing them to be part of Fielder Church.
