Israel Villalobos
Pioneer Campus Groups Shepherd
Israel was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He came to faith at the age of 10 in a small Baptist church and was baptized at age 12. He grew up as a pastor’s kid and never figured he’d work for a church but at the age of 19, God called Israel to surrender to ministry.
He pursued his undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University. He later continued his theological education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning both his master’s and doctoral degrees with a focus in pastoral theology.
Israel has been joyfully married to his wife, Christine, for nearly 10 years. Together, they have three wonderful children: Israel (8), Melody (4), and Adelina (1). As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it’s swimming, cycling or making a stop at Braum’s for ice cream.
Israel has a deep love for the Church and would be honored to connect with you—whether over a cup of coffee or some tacos. He’d love to hear your story, learn how the Lord is working in your life, and help you get connected to a community group. His heart is to walk alongside you as you grow in your relationship with Jesus and to help you discover how God has uniquely gifted you to serve and build up the body of Christ at Fielder.
