David Olejnik

David was born in Seattle, WA and raised in St. Louis, MO after his family moved there when he was three. He surrendered his life to Jesus as a 10-year-old and has been seeking to grow in his relationship with the Lord ever since. There have been highs and lows in his faith journey, but each valley season has grown his trust in God’s faithfulness no matter the circumstances.

David played 4 years of Division 1 baseball at Western Illinois University where he graduated in May of 2023 with a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism. Shortly after graduating, the Lord began to guide David in a new direction, preparing his heart to enter ministry.

A phone call from Matt Hunter, David’s former youth pastor and current campus pastor at the Fielder South Oaks Campus, revealed an opportunity to serve the students of that location. David knew this was where God was calling him to be! When God calls, we must respond. After putting his yes on the table, David made the move down to Arlington, TX, and is extremely excited to be leading the students of the South Oaks Campus!
