Angela grew up seeking truth because her parents came from different religious backgrounds. Thankfully, her mother was a Christian and faithfully took her to church, where Angela discovered that truth is not merely an idea but a person—Jesus—who saved her by His marvelous grace. As her faith deepened, so did her passion and calling for ministry.

After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Angela moved to Texas to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, desiring to be better equipped to advance God’s kingdom.

Angela joined Fielder Church as a Send Resident, eager to learn more about the beauty and challenges of a multi-ethnic church after previously serving only in Korean congregations. While serving with Fielder’s missions team, God opened the door for her to remain on staff after graduating from seminary.

Her passion is to raise up disciples who go to all nations proclaiming the truth of who Jesus is and what He has done for every people group. This aligns perfectly with Fielder’s vision to be a sending church. Angela is honored to be part of what God is doing and desires to live as a vessel for His glory.
