This urgent letter from Paul to Titus is instructing him to straight-up clean house and appoint leaders to teach, shepherd, and oversee the people of God. Paul was calling them to be agents of change in such a corrupt culture. Paul instructed the people of God live a counter-cultural gospel, in reliance on the Spirit, so they could declare God’s goodness and grace to those around them! The people would show everyone the beauty of the message about our saving God!
