November is Missions Month at Fielder!

November 5th is Serve the City. Three times a year our church chooses not to meet for regular Sunday service so that we can go out and serve our city! We will be partnering with Children’s Hunger Fund to pack food boxes for food insecure children & families in our community. Our whole church will be serving together in a UTA parking lot (1100 S Cooper St.) at 9:30AM. God has been radically generous with us, so we are compelled by love to be radically generous to those around us. Bring your family & friends and serve with us on this Sunday!

November 12th is Stand Sunday. On Stand Sunday, we will be hearing God’s heart for all the ways His people are to stand for, with, together, and by the fatherless, vulnerable, birth, adoptive, and foster families. Our prayer is that we will all be challenged to walk in new ways of obedience both as individuals and a church body as we seek to live out His commands.

November 19th is Sending Sunday. During Sending Sunday, we will be talking about God’s heart for the nations and how we as the church as called to exhale. Just as a deep breath naturally leads to an exhale, when we inhale the gospel message, the Spirit creates a compulsion to arise and go. 2 Corinthians 5:14 emphasizes that it is the love of Christ that compels us. Our motivation to reach the nations isn’t based in amusement, adventure, or fun. We go because we have been transformed by the gospel which emanates from the believer and reaches those who have not yet heard. There are so many ways for you to go and different people groups to engage with. God uses every ‘yes,’ so would you be open to putting your ‘yes’ on the table for wherever God calls you?
