At Fielder, we have a churchwide goal of relieving 1,000 children through foster care and adoption by 2026.

To support families pursuing foster care and adoption, we offer the following:

Pathways to Adoption Class

Led by Krista Stotler

Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8 p.m.   |   F-115

Session One:  Jan. 23 – Feb. 13   |   Session Two:  April 3 – May 1

Discover God’s heart for the orphan along with the realities and channels of foster care and adoption. Understand the processes and challenges from developing a financial plan, how to select an agency, preparing your family and home and what to expect after your child comes home.

F.A.C.E. Time (Foster Adoption Conversation Exchange)

Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8 p.m.   |   F-115 

Come join us in a coffeehouse-type setting to talk casually about adoption and foster care. Ask questions, seek advice and relax as you seek wisdom from seasoned experts.

Pathways to Adoption Class

Our four-week Equip class meets 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday nights in Room F-115 at the Arlington Campus of Fielder Church.

In the Pathways to Adoption class, you will discover: 

  • God’s heart for the orphan.
  • The realities and channels of foster care and adoption.
  • The processes and challenges of foster care and adoption.
  • Developing a plan for finances.
  • How to select an agency.
  • How to prepare your family and your home.
  • What to expect after your child comes home.
Fielder Foster Care & Adoption Support Group

The FFCA Support Group meets every Wednesday, 6:30 - 8 p.m., in room F121 at the Arlington Campus, 2011 S. Fielder Rd.  Topics vary weekly. This class offers 1 1/2 hours of continuing education credit. Certificates will be emailed after completion. Child care is available for birth through sixth grade.

Come and meet with a community of like-minded believers in Jesus Christ that talk about foster care and adoption. We exist to support each other as we step out in obedience to our Lord through relieving children when they are displaced.
