The Lord has placed in me a love for the people in the Middle East since I was a little girl. I have watched the Lord grow this love through my desire to pray for this people group, to study Middle Eastern politics in college, to serve locally among Arab refugees, to sit with Arab women and hear their life stories, to learn Arabic, and to go on mission trips to the Middle East.

I have heard the stories first hand of Arab’s coming to know Jesus and watching their lives be transformed. I desire to share the gospel and give this community the opportunity to respond and to watch it transform their lives. And, as a licensed therapist, I desire to find ways to integrate therapeutic support in the work that I do in a culturally respected way, through God’s guidance.

 I am being sent by Fielder and working with a sending organization called Pioneers. I will join a team in the Middle East, where my initial two to three years will be devoted to achieving a high level of fluency in Arabic. During this time and beyond, I will intentionally build relationships with local people, share the hope of the gospel, and seek meaningful ways to use my counseling background to glorify God while honoring and respecting the Arab community.

I desire to see God glorified and His Kingdom expanded in the Middle East. I believe that through language and culture learning and sharing the love and gospel of Jesus that we will see disciple making movements that transform lives from brokenness to wholeness across the Middle East.
