Encourage One Another

When many people think about adoption, what comes to mind are the movie moments in Annie, Despicable Me, or The Blind Side, where a child gets a forever home and everyone lives happily ever after.  Unfortunately, adoption does not always come with a Hollywood ending.  Many children from hard places struggle greatly, even after adoption into loving families.  Struggles with attachment disorders, rage, self-harm, sexual acting out, and much more often place enormous strain on the children, parents, and families. Sometimes, this strain can even lead to disrupted adoptions.  Here at E1A our mission is to support and encourage foster and adoptive families in various ways in order to keep families intact and to help them thrive.
