Who Will Go?

Mission Reflection

Answering God’s Call

Reflect on God’s call to missions, pray for more laborers to reach Unreached People Groups, and consider how you can participate in expanding His kingdom through time, resources, and active service.

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” Isaiah 6:8

It is estimated that Christians on average give 1.5% to Christian causes. Of the 1.5%, 6% of it goes to missions. Of the 6%, 1.7% goes to the work towards Unreached People Groups (UPGs). It is also estimated that approximately 2.7% of missionaries work with the UPGs.

The results of these studies show that, although UPGs account for 42.5% of the world population, only 0.0000153% of funds and 2.7% of workers are dedicated to them.

Who is God calling to go to the nations? He is calling all of us to activate and participate in the work of expanding the kingdom of God in other places.

Pray to the Lord of the harvest for more laborers to go to the ends of the earth to share the gospel to UPGs. (Luke 10:2) (Romans 10:14-15)

Pray that we become more radically generous with our time and finances. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

After taking time to pray about those God may be calling to the mission field, whether globally or locally, move part of the curtain aside to discreetly look behind it.
