Welcome to Growth D-Groups

This is where you will be able to find content, materials and tools that will help you lead a Foundations Discipleship Group. Our vision is that you would be equipped to lead those around you while having the freedom of doing so through relationships.

GDG Outline

Whether you are leading an FDG, GDG or LDG, the goal at the end of them is all the same: for you to grow in Christ likeness and to walk in obedience to Him. We at Fielder believe that these things are best done in community where our brothers and sisters can hold us accountable and to encourage us to continue for the rest of our lives.

To help you make that happen, we want to give you the basics of what a D-Group meeting should look like. Below you will find an outline of what a regular meeting time will look like so that you can most effectively lead your group.

Meeting Time: 90 Minutes
- Prayer requests and time in prayer – 20 minutes
- Accountability – 25 minutes
- Content overview – 15 minutes
- Model and Practice – 20 minutes
- Action steps and prayer – 10 minutes

For the content overview portion of the meeting, you will lead your disciples through different training sessions that will help them better understand what it means to be a disciple:

"Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ" - 1 Corinthians 11:1

God does not call you to know everything, to be perfect or to know all the right things to say. God calls you to follow Christ's example and allow others to imitate you doing so. My prayer for you is that you would be confident leading your group knowing that God is with you. Imitate Christ and see God do incredible things in your life and the lives of those you are leading!
