OUR VISION
The vision Fielder Kids vision - We invest in this generation to inhale the foundational truths of the gospel, exhale the love of Jesus to family and friends, and to make disciples who follow Jesus.
Here at Fielder Kids there are several leadership opportunities. From helping with Leadership Support to leading Small Groups and helping with Big Events, there is a place in Fielder Kids for you. For more information about applying for these positions, please see the Kids Leader Handbook at the top of the page.
Small Group Leader
In Children’s Ministry, your main job is to help a group of kids grow in their faith. You’ll make sure they feel safe, welcomed, and connected—not just to God, but to each other too. That means you’ll guide Bible studies, start conversations, and engaging in fun activities that help them learn what it really means to live out their faith every day.
Large Group Leader
In the Children’s Ministry, you’re the one guiding a big group of kids through lessons and worship. You get to plan fun, interactive activities, share stories, and help create a space where every child feels welcome and can grow in their faith. It’s all about making learning about God exciting and meaningful for them.
Guest Services (Check-In, Greeter)
In Children’s Ministry, Guest Services focuses on creating a welcoming and positive experience for new and returning families and children. This includes assisting with check-in, providing information about the program, helping families find their way, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable time for everyone.
Tech Booth/Sound
If you’re the kind of person who likes being behind the scenes, the Tech Booth Volunteer spot might be perfect for you. You’ll run slides, sound, and whatever other media we need during services — basically, you make sure everything goes smoothly so kids can focus on worship and the message. It might not be front and center, but this role is a huge part of creating a fun, engaging, and Gospel-focused experience. You’re helping bring the story of Jesus to life for our kids, and that’s pretty awesome.
Coordinator
As a Hallway Coordinator, you’re the go-to person in the ministry hallway. You help families feel welcome, keep things running smoothly, and make sure kids, leaders, and volunteers all know what’s going on. Whether it’s check-in time, moving between rooms, or just making sure everything’s safe and organized, you’re there to support the team and keep the ministry at its best.
Substitute
If you’re stepping in as a substitute in Children’s Ministry, your main job is to make sure the kids are safe, having a good time, and feel supported. You’ll be there to help out the regular ministry staff with whatever they need—maybe that means leading a Bible lesson, running a small group activity, or just keeping an eye on things and helping where you can.
Floater
A Floater in Children’s Ministry is kind of like the ministry’s go-to helper. They jump in wherever they’re needed—covering for someone who’s out, lending a hand with different age groups, or tackling whatever comes up that day. They’re quick to pick things up and keep things running smoothly no matter what’s going on.
Event Support
At Fielder Kids, we host several big events every year. From Camp to Respite Nights and everything in between, we need leaders who are willing to be leaders in various capacities during these big events. During these events, one can serve as a small group leader, prayer counselor, leadership support, and logistical support, amongst other things.
Below you will find several different trainings that Fielder Church has available for you!
