Monica Lopez
Children's Ministry Assistant and HR Generalist
Monica is originally from Mexico City. In 1996, Monica moved to Corsicana, Texas, a town so small that if you blink, you would miss it. It is there, at the age of 17, when Monica came to know the Lord and became very involved in the youth ministry.
In 2001, Monica attend Texas A&M-Commerce University and later transferred to the University of North Texas, in Denton, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business. Monica’s professional work life has been in Human Resources, which is perfect because she loves to work with people! Monica says she’s never met a stranger, just a future friend.
In the fall of 2019, Monica and her husband started attending Fielder Church at the Grand Prairie Campus, where she rekindled her relationship with God. She repented of her disobedience, got baptized and started serving as a volunteer in the Children’s Ministry.
Monica joined the Fielder Staff in 2023. She says she knows the Lord still has a lot of work to do within her, and is looking forward to becoming the person the He wants her to be.
Monica has been with her husband, Angel since 2001, and is so thankful he has endured her craziness all these years. They have a gorgeous 4 year old daughter, Mia, who like her momma, loves to socialize, especially during Sunday school at the “green Fielder Church”(GPC).
