As we continue our multi-year journey through the Gospels, Behold the Lamb will walk us verse by verse through Matthew 26:17–28:20—tracing the final hours of Jesus’ earthly ministry from the Passover table to the empty tomb, from suffering to glory. Beginning February 22, the first Sunday of Lent, and culminating on Easter, April 5, this seven-week journey invites us to slow down, fix our eyes on Christ, and truly behold Him.

To behold is more than to glance—it is to gaze with wonder and encounter the living God. We will stand in the upper room as the Lamb breaks bread and speaks of a covenant sealed in His blood. We will enter Gethsemane and witness His surrender. We will follow Him through betrayal, trial, and crucifixion—seeing the spotless Lamb, silent before His accusers, bearing the sin of the world.

At Calvary, the Lamb is slain. On the third day, the Lamb stands risen. In Matthew 28, the risen Christ declares all authority and sends His people with resurrection power. The Lamb who was sacrificed now reigns.

Lent is an invitation to draw near—to repent, to worship, and to be changed as we fix our eyes on Jesus.

Come and see. Come and worship. Come and behold the Lamb.
