About the Brown Scholarship
The Brown Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of James T. Brown and his wife, Johnnie Ruth Brown.
The purpose of this is to provide college scholarships to one or more students annually. Qualifying students may apply for a scholarship by submitting a completed application online or to the church office before April 30, 2024.
Students should be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Scholarships will not be awarded for tuition toward an associate degree or trade school. Scholarships shall be limited to one academic year. An applicant who receives a scholarship but does not attend school and incur educational expenses is expected to return the scholarship. If they do not return the scholarship, they will be ineligible for any future scholarships.
