of fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ
Vision has been defined as 'the most possible dream of a preferable future to the current reality.' In short, our vision establishes not only what we are presently about as a church, but says something significant about who we dream of becoming ... together!
In the spirit of the life and work of Jesus, Fielder Road desires to be a church that leverages the very best of who we are-individually and corporately - to honor God and to live out the mission Christ gave His Church! Whatever it takes is our motto and it speaks not only of the level of our commitment to Christ's cause, but also to the character of our collective heart to extend the message of God's love to our generation.
The cross is made up of two beams - a vertical beam that speaks of our coming into a reconciled relationship with God and a horizontal beam that speaks of our coming into right relationship with one another-and the heart of Fielder's vision places us squarely at the intersection of those two beams. We exist to reach people who have not yet entered a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are motivated to do everything we do out of the conviction that people - all people - matter immensely to the Father.
Beyond reaching people, we also believe that we are called to build a redemptive community made up of seekers and Christ followers alike-a place that expresses in the rich undertones of grace, mercy and forgiveness the family of God. Community ... a sense of belonging, is the soul-deep yearning of humanity and we desire that every one who calls Fielder their spiritual home find a place where they can know and be known, love and be loved, serve and be served, celebrate and be celebrated!
Ultimately, the church exists to promote and foster life change. This is the hope that each of us holds onto and in it's final analysis, Fielder's vision is aimed at nothing less than the maturing of individuals around the purposes of God-full devotion! God has spared no expense to make this kind of new life possible and we want to achieve nothing less.
